Mercury ES - Operator Workstations

Mercury ES users connect via direct cable connection or over the network to either the Mercury Interface Unit (MIU) or Mini Mercury Unit (MMU). The MIU and MMU differ in size, number of users supported, and I/O for headsets and PTT switches.

Mercury Interface Unit (MIU)	Mini Mercury Unit (MMU)
Supports up to six (6) independent users - wired or via network connection.	Supports two (2) concurrent wired users or one (1) via network connection.
Binaural audio and physical PTT: I/O for headsets and PTT switches is provided via Headset Junction Boxes.	Binaural audio: Integrated I/O for one student and one operator headset, and two PTT switches.
Monaural audio and Browser Panel PTT: No physical cable connection to the MIU is required.	Monaural audio and Browser Panel PTT: No physical cable connection to the MMU is required.

All Mercury ES workstations are equipped with a Browser Panel and Headset.

A variety of basic configuration options are shown below. Many more are possible and there is no restriction on combining different configuration options on the same Mercury Enterprise.
